Comer - Marie A. Sparks, 71, died July 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
A native of Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Violet Basile Tatone. She was a member of Colliers Baptist Church, the Madison County Senior Center and Madison County Scarlett O'Hatters.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law: Dan and Sherrie Willes; daughter and son in law: Suzanne W. and Bobby Hunt; sister and brother in law: Sandra and David Womack; brother and sister in law: Donald and Gail Tatone; grandchildren: Samantha Willes, Joel Chandler Hunt and Violet AnnMarie Hunt; uncle: Maury (Helen) Basile and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services wereFriday, July 23, 2010 at 12 Noon at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , Diabetes Association or Comer Nursing Home.
