Marie Howell

Marie Howell, loving mother and grandmother, died July 22, 2017. She was 86 years old.

Mrs. Howell was a daughter of the late Lois Mae and Andrew Clayton Cochran and the widow of J. L. Howell. She was a devoted church member and a talented musician. For the last few years, she was a resident of Lanier Gardens, where she made many friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Private interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Griffin, GA.

Survivors include two children, Brenda Howell (Charles) Stewart of Watkinsville, GA, Sandra Ann Howell of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Kim (Alex) Smith, Kelly (James) Kipers; five great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Monday at 10:00 AM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Marie's memory.
