Athens - Marie C. Cook, 89, died March 12, 2006.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Marie Kulow Phillips, was the widow of George Cook and was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Martin, formerly of Ashtabula, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of Danielsville United Methodist Church.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at 11:00 AM at Danielsville United Methodist Church. Rev. Mike McLemore will officiate.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Edgell of Orange Park, FL, Linda Morse of Perry, Ohio, and Carolyn Edwards of Comer, GA; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
