Athens - Marianne Skinner Wynne, age 61, of Athens, died Friday, September 18, 2009.
She was a graduate of Athens High School and the University of Georgia. She was predeceased in death by her father, Robert E. Skinner Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wynne of Athens; her daughter, Janis Wynne of Athens; her mother, Janis Spencer Skinner of Athens; her sister, Ruthie Mosley of Watkinsville; her brothers, Bob Skinner of Marietta and Allen Skinner of Watkinsville; sister Amy Carter of Mechanicsville, Va.; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Lord and Stephens West Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 5 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Athens First Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 1747, Athens, GA 30603 for a college fund for her daughter, Janis Wynne.
Lord & Stephens, West is in charge of arrangements.
