Lexington GA - Maria Wilson, 58, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Providence Health Center, Waco, TX.
Born in Waco, TX, she was the daughter Leo Blanco, Sr. and Dehlia Merritt Blanco. Maria loved her grandchildren dearly and also enjoyed camping and watching football.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband of 18 years, Ricky Wilson; children: John Sutter of Texas, Tiffany Byerly, Adam Byerly, April Byerly, and Ashley Byerly all of Lexington, GA; brothers: Jessie Blanco, Sr., Leo Blanc, Jr., Ralph Blanco, Gut Merritt; sisters: Sylvia Salinas and Deborah Merritt.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Kevin Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
