Marguerite "Peggy" (Schue) Jackson

Watkinsville, Georgia

Marguerite E. Jackson “Peggy”, 84, of Watkinsville passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020. Born on April 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude Walter and Joseph Schue. Peggy was an avid Braves and UGA fan and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Every decision she made was revolved around her family. Her family was her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Jackson; daughter, Marijo Maloof; Son-in-law, Fred Maloof.

Survivors include her Children, Margie Lyness (Chip), Bill Jackson (Keren), Joe Jackson (Vicky), Georgiann Garratt; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn McTague; sister-in-law Roseanne Jones; nieces; and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and doctors of Piedmont Hospital Heart Failure Unit.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the UGA Catholic Center at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm the evening prior at Lord & Stephens West, Watkinsville, GA. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Service will be live streamed on the UGA Catholic Center's Facebook page as well as their YouTube page.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Peggy’s memory may be made to The American Heart Association online at www.heart.org.
