Bishop - Margie Phillips, 90, died May 11, 2009.
A native of Oconee County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Daisy Sanders and George W. House and the widow of Samuel Otis Phillips. She retired from F. W. Woolworth Company after thirty-two years and was the last survivor of her eight siblings.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Oconee Chapel with Rev. Doug Ivey officiating. Interment will be in Bishop Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Randy Phillips of Watkinsville; grandson, Ronald Phillips of Bishop; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Dustin and Dylan.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Watkinsville Christian Church.
