Margie Marie Huth Sapera O'Halloran, died peacefully at Athens Heritage on November 12, 2012 at age 92.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo J. Sapera, Jr., her second husband, Frank C. O'Halloran, Jr. and her parents, Robert C. and Nora Huth. A native of New Orleans, she lived there for over eighty years before moving to Athens in 2005 to be near her only son, Captain Leonard J. Sapera, SC, USN (Retired), and his wife, Eileen, and grandchildren, Lance (Michelle) Scott, and Leigh Sapera Perno (Joseph). She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Collin, Nicole, Neelie, Jack and Trip.
She has bequeathed her body to the Medical College of Georgia. No services will be held.
Donations in her honor may be made to the Athens Regional Foundation, 1199 Prince Avenue, Athens, GA 30606.
