Margie Hardman Bramlett

August 28, 1921 — March 18, 2015

Margie Hardman Bramlett, 93, died March 18, 2015.
The last surviving of six children, Mrs. Bramlett was a daughter of the late Luke and Inez Thompson Hardman and the widow of Dan W. Bramlett. She and Dan lived in Danielsville, Hartwell, Cordele and Thomasville before retiring to Winterville. Mrs. Bramlett was a member of Winterville United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women's Association.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, she retired from teaching after twenty years. She taught in Hartwell, Cordele and Thomasville and was supportive of the Delta Kappa Gamma honorary teachers group.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Winterville United Methodist Church with Rev. Tac Coley officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include two children, Dr. Dan J. (Gail) Bramlett of Thomaston, GA and Dianne Bramlett Vergouven of Woodstock, GA; five grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Vergouven (Alan) Brown, Lane Daniel Vergouven, Brynn Myra Vergouven, William Daniel Bramlett and David Hardman (Brittany) Bramlett; three great grandchildren, Nola Bramlett, Olivia Vergouven and Shepard Bramlett.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the Dan W. Bramlett Educational Scholarship Fund at Winterville United Methodist Church.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
