Winterville - Margaret Lindsay Stephan, 65, wife of the late Richard H. Stephan, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Crawford Long Hospital, Atlanta, GA.
Born in Glasgow Scotland, she was the daughter of the late David and Alice McDonald Lindsay. Her son Andrew Kenneth Fox also preceded her in death. She retired from the University of Georgia as a receptionist. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Lindsey Fox (Chuck) Barnes of Watkinsville, daughter in law, Melissa Fox of Watkinsville, brothers; Eric and Gordon Lindsay of Scotland, grandchildren; Allison Barnes, Ethan Barnes, William Barnes and Hannah Fox.
Graveside services will be held 2PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Oconee Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Athens Area Humane Society.
