Margaret Crumley Mattox

Margaret Crumley Mattox, 84, of Colbert, died Sunday, August 23, 2015.
A lifelong resident of Colbert, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Sorrow Crumley. Mrs. Mattox was an active member of the Colbert First Baptist Betherean Sunday School Class. She loved gardening, flowers and most of all, her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; and one son, Bruce Alan Mattox.
Survivors include six children, Tony (Denise) Mattox, Kathy (Richard) Whitfield, Eric Mattox, Durward (Susan) Mattox, John Mattox and Lee (Samantha) Mattox; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Colbert First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Colbert Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Mattox, Ryan Mattox, Nick Mattox, Dustin Mattox, Dwain Free and Richard Whitfield.The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence of Durward and Susan Mattox, 124 South Hickory Point, Hull, GA 30646.
