Comer - Margaret Floyd Martin-Lord, 90, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Comer Nursing Home.
A native and life long resident of Madison County, Margaret was the daughter of the late Luther and Emma Threatt Floyd. She was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church and retired from Madison County Schools. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tyrus Martin, second husband, Robert Lord and sons, Harold and Stewart Martin.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Martin of Atlanta, brother, A. J. Floyd of Athens, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice.
