Margaret Matilda Hansford

Margaret Berryman Hansford, 95, wife of the late Roscoe Albert Hansford, died Friday, September 25, 2015. Born in Oglethorpe County on February 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Meade and Neily Barber Berryman and was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. She was a homemaker, member of Hull Baptist Church and loyal member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her children: Gary (Bea) Hansford of Athens, Kay (Wayne) McLeroy of Buford; sisters: Gretel Cronic of Athens, Peggy Berryman of Augusta; sister in law: Mary Berryman of Crawford; grandchildren: Sarah (Michael) Jones of Charleston, SC, Zach (Carol Ann) McLeroy Suwanee and Eric McLeroy of Buford and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:30 at Evergreen Memorial Park . The family wishes that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
