Margaret Boswell

Margaret Boswell, 89, died August 22, 2015.

A native of Oconee County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and S.C. Dooley and the widow of George D. Boswell. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie K. Boswell, four brothers, James Hamilton Dooley, Hillmon Lee Dooley, Robert Lewis Dooley and Tom Watson Dooley, and a nephew, Melvin Dooley.

Mrs. Boswell worked for J.C. Penney for many years before retiring from GA Insurers Inc. as secretary/bookkeeper. She was a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Rick (Gay) Boswell of Watkinsville; brother, Melvin Dooley, Jr. of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Christopher Ryan (Erica) Boswell, Brandon Jacob (Laura) Boswell, and Kimberly Renee Boswell (fiancé, Alan Wooten); three great grandchildren, Ian, Mason and Lane; five nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time.

Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House.
