Mamie Lettie (Davison) Pledger

Mamie Lettie Pledger, 100, died Monday, March 20, 2017.
A native of Franklin, County, she was the daughter of the late John Dillard Davison and Dora King Davison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh James Pledger; brothers and sisters: Cora Davison Brooks, Lela Davison Cole, Jessie Davison Coile, Sadie Davison Christy, Louis Davison Autlman, Jim Davison, Alvin Davison, Wilburn Davison and Junior Davison and son in law, Robert Leonard Silvey. She retired from Jefferson Mills. Mrs. Pledger was a member of Crawford Pentecostal Church, Restoration Apostolic Church and had been involved with the Oglethorpe County Senior Center for 35 years.
Survivors include her children: Joyce Pledger Silvey, Jimmy Wayne (Wanda Jones) Pledger; grandchildren: Ricky and Scott Pledger, Sherrie P. Davis, Karen Guy, Greg Silvey, Melissa Bupp; great grandchildren: Bailey, Madyson and Taylor Pledger, Brittany Price, Emmy and Christopher Guy, Amanda, James, Noah, Timothy and Abbigail Silvey; Autumn, Noah, Willow and Isaac Bupp; great great grandchildren: Clara, Alisa and Avery Williams and Caden and Hopper Silvey and two half sisters: Patsy Davison Hubbard and Shirley Davison Fowler.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM at Crawford Pentecostal Church on Thursday, March 23, 2017 with Pastors, Edward Walden and Donald Weinegar officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be held at Crawford Cemetery.
