Malinda Lee Craft

Malinda Lee Craft, 59, of Athens, passed away on August 27, 2023. Born on August 28, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Artice Lindon Ridgeway and Mary Alice Wellborn Ridgeway.

Malinda loved her family, friends and going to church. She enjoyed camping and going to the dirt track on Saturday nights.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Craft; son, Anthony Craft; grandparents, Artice and Eunice Ridgeway, Jimmy and Annie Wellborn.

Survivors include her children, Kadie (Allen) Hawkins, John (Jill) Campbell; grandchildren, Zoey Grace Hawkins, Lyndon Craft; siblings, Beverly (Mike) Weathers, Arti (Tammy) Ridgeway; numerous nieces and nephews who called her “Nonna” and loved her dearly; sisters-in-law, Janet Warfield, Lisa Craft.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, WEST, Watkinsville with Pastor Dewayne Carrol officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
