Malcolm Angus Hancock, age 90, formerly of Pelham, Ga., passed away December 7, 2006.
Mr. Hancock was a faithful member of The Hand Memorial Methodist Church of Pelham, Ga. He was also a WWII Navy veteran. He will be remembered with fondness for his love of gardening and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Susan Johnson and Martha Leslein, and three grandchildren, Christina Johnson Lane, Daniel Johnson and Marsha Leslein.
Graveside services will be held in the Sylvester City Cemetery on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 2:00pm, with viewing at the cemetery from 1:30pm until 1:45pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Mary's Hospice Service, PO Box 6588, Athens, GA 30604 or Hand Memorial United Methodist Church, PO Box 424, Pelham, GA 31779.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
