Lexington - Maggie Lee Paul, 98, of Quiet Oaks and Lexington, GA died September 20, 2005.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ophelia White Porterfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Paul and a daughter, Doris P. Burgess. Mrs. Paul is survived by two daughters, Katheryn Tucker of Rayle and JoAnn York of Lexington; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Paul was owner and operator of Paul's Groceries for over fifty years and was a member of Clouds Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 22, 2005, at 10:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. John Parker officiating. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
