Watkinsville, GA - Mae Sue Dean Tittle, 79, died February 28, 2007.
A native of Madison County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Frank W. and Bertha Mae Christian Dean, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Tittle, Sr. and son, Jimmy A. Tittle. She was a lifelong resident of this area and retired from Thomas Textiles after 42 years. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Pastors Scott Shepherd and Terry Ross will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Edward Tittle, Jr. and wife Kathy, and Randy M. Tittle and wife Beverly; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and June Dean of Colbert; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leola Kelley of Cornelia, Frances and Lester Smith of Comer, Alberta and T. C. Chesney of Columbia, SC, June and Hiram James of Danielsville; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. They are: Andrew Duncan, Mark Christopher Tittle, Kevin Stratton, Tommy Ruffner, Scott Tittle, and Ryan Tittle.
Flowers will be accepted. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1600 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
