Mae Whitehead Snelling

Mae Whitehead Snelling of Athens, formerly of Carlton, GA, died Sunday, November 11, 2012.
Mae was the daughter of the late Walter Joe and Chloe Adams Whitehead and wife of the late Henry B. Snelling, Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sue Snelling; son, Joe Snelling; two grandsons, Brad Snelling, Brian Snelling and wife Julie, and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Ben and Katie. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Sweeny.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 14 at 2:00 PM in the chapel with burial to follow at the Carlton Cemetery.
Flowers are optional. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The ALS Association Georgia Chapter, 1955 Cliff Valley Way - Suite 116 - Atlanta, GA 30329 - (888) 636-9940 in memory of Henry B. Snelling, Jr.
