Mae Nell Hamby

Mae Nell Hamby, 93, died December 11, 2012.
A native of Clarke County, she was a daughter of the late Purl C. and Nellie Mae Eberhart and the widow of Richard Hoyt Hamby. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Revs. Buford Lockman and Tom Dial officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include three children, Dolores (Bobby) Brooks of Athens, JoAnn (Tommy) Jacobs of Morganton, GA, Carol Bradshaw of Neese; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Brooks, Tommy Jacobs, Jr., Curtis Bradshaw, Wesley Bradshaw, Jerry Long and Cliff Fisher.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
