Mae Vandiver Berryman, age 75, of Colbert, Ga passed away Monday, November 2, 2009. She was born May 8, 1934 in Franklin County, Georgia, the daughter of the late William Amos Vandiver and Genolia Bell South Vandiver.
In addition to her parents, "Miss Mae" is preceded in death by an older brother and sister in law, Harold and Ruth Vandiver; an infant brother, Hugh Daniel Vandiver; a younger brother James H. Vandiver.
Survivors include her loving, devoted, husband of 55 years, H. Winston Berryman; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Teri Berryman of Hull; sister Marie Byrd of Powder Springs; sister-in-law Mary Vandiver of Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lord & Stephens Danielsville. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Chapel, Danielsville, with Rev. Don Fuller and Rev. Rip Goss officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jim Patton, Chad Marcengill, Steve Berryman, Wayne Chitwood, Jeff Humphrey, Johnny Humphrey, Robert Bell, and Daryle Abel. Internment will follow in Colbert Cemetery. The family is at the home of Tim and Teri Berryman.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
