Mable Harris Carithers

Mable Harris Carithers, 76, died Saturday, February 2, 2013.
A native of Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late John William and Eula Mae Chastain Harris and wife of the late William A. Carithers. She was a longtime employee of General Time and retired from Sam's Club. She was a member of Meadow Baptist Church. Mable was loving Christian woman and enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her daughters and sons in law, Cheryl and Steve Roberts and Tammy and Jimmy Carter all of Comer; grandchildren, Tyler (Chelsea) Roberts of Texas, Katie (Jonathan) Wentworth of Athens, Christianna Carter of Comer; great grandchildren, Emma and Elle Roberts.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 300PM at Meadow Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sarna officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday, February 4, 2013 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
