Athens, GA - Mabel Hill Stewart, 86, died April 24, 2007.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Newman Edward and Lola Maynard Hill and widow of Paul Edmond Stewart. She was a member of Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Rev. Alan Smith officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Harry "Ray" Carter, Jeff Hill, Brian Carter, Jimmy Duncan, Tony Carter and Martin Matheny.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Ronald and Maxine Stewart and granddaughter, Angela Stewart, all of Athens; brothers, George W. Hill of Sterling, VA and Henry J. Hill of Athens; sister in law, Bernice Duncan of Hull and 12 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church.
