M. Lynn Winders

M. Lynn Winders, 67, died Sunday, June 28, 2015. A native of Henderson, NC, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Arthur Winders and Minnie Zilphia Thompson Winders, and was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Sue Meyers and grandson, Maddox Landon McDonald. Lynn was a communications operator with AT&T until her retirement and a member of Compass Church and Edwards Chapel, Athens, GA. Survivors include her daughter, Alise Winders Booth of Watkinsville, GA, grandson, Landon Brock Winders-Baker. A service celebrating Lynn's life will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 6PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Revs. Jim Carpenter, Lee Hunter and Lee Shelton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Barrow, Joe Simpson, Stephen Baker, Joe Booth, Jason Burns and Dala Griffeth.
