Lynn Claudette Cruickshank

Lynn Claudette Cruickshank, 60, passed away December 7, 2017.

Born in York, Maine, Lynn lived in this area for the last forty years, after relocating several times including Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where her father was a career Marine. She was a member of the UGA Catholic Center and the Athens Orchid Society. She loved to travel and especially to visit her home in Seaside, FL.

Lynn worked at Russell Research Center for the Food Safety Inspection Service as a chemist for thirty-eight years, where she not only loved her job, but loved the people with whom she worked. Her family and friends were her world and she was ours.

Private services will be held.

Survivors include her parents, Eugene J. and Claudette B. Cruickshank of Comer, GA; two sisters, Ali Cruickshank Merritt (husband, Bryan Merritt) of Greenville, SC, Bonnie Cruickshank-Lind (husband, Steven Lind) of Alpharetta, GA; two brothers, Dale Cruickshank (wife, Joyce Cruickshank) of Broadlands, VA and Glenn Cruickshank (wife, Robin Cruickshank) of Commerce, GA; most loved nieces and nephews, Heather Cruickshank Wolford, Aubrey Cruickshank Bellamy, Cameron Cruickshank, Amber Cruickshank, Tiler Kuykendall, Stephen Lind, Travis Lind, Meredith Lind and Elise Lind.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MD Anderson Sarcoma Center.

Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
