Luther Manuel "Pete" Crowe

Monroe, GA - Luther Manuel "Pete" Crowe, 81, died March 17, 2013.
A native of Oconee County, he was the son of the late Luther Columbus and Lillie Ruth Malcom Crowe. Mr. Crowe was longtime owner of Pete Crowe Construction. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gene Crowe; children, Kenneth Mason Crowe (Loraine) of Colorado Springs, CO, Julie Crowe Auten (Dale) of Murrayville, GA, Pam Crowe Patat (Eddie) of Bishop and Cecilia G. Crowe of Melbourne, FL; 7 grandchildren, Justin Crowe (Jamie), Erin Watson (Dan), Morgan Smith (Josh), AnnaKate Auten, Bethany Auten, Kelli Thompson (Jake) and Laura Patat.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Steve Bingham and Charles Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and also at the church for one hour prior to the service.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church Building Fund or Compassionate Care Hospice.
