Watkinsville, GA - Luther Tucker Berryman, 73, died September 2, 2006.
A native of Hart County, GA, he was a son of the late Fannie Aaron and Lemeul Wilson Berryman. He was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church and a former chief dispatcher with the Georgia Forestry Commission.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 2:00 PM at Oconee Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Dan Fuller and Dr. Rick Standard officiating. Interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, E. Mildred Smith Berryman; son, Joseph Wilson Berryman, Sr. of Farmington; daughter, Carolyn Berryman Sosbee and husband, James of Bogart; two sisters, Rosetta Bailey of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Anne Beard of Star, SC; brother, Douglas MacArthur Berryman of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Joseph Wilson Berryman, Jr. and wife, Christy, Sandy Marie Sosbee and Jamie Nicole Sosbee; two great grandsons, Ezekiel and Braxton Berryman.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors, is in charge of arrangements.
