Lucy (Whitehead) Sellers

Lucy Whitehead Sellers, 101, died Friday, May 29, 2020.

Born in Jefferson, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lovic Pierce Whitehead and Lizzie May Wood Whitehead.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wiley Sellers, Sr. on October 3, 1992 and one granddaughter Martha Wright.

Mrs. Sellers was a homemaker and ran the family candy business alongside her husband for over 50 years.  She was a member of Winterville Baptist Church. Her quest in Life was having Fellowship in the Spirit of her Lord Jesus Christ and loving her children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She shall surely be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son: Robert Wiley Sellers Jr. (wife-Peggy Sellers); daughters: Ann Day of Winterville, Ga  and Carolyn Wright of Americus Ga. She has 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park.
