Lucille Hall Easom

Lucille Hall Easom, 92, died Sunday, December 1, 2013.
A native of Lanett, Alabama, Mrs. Easom was a daughter of the late Addie Toney Hall and William Marvin Hall. She was the widow of Louie Easom.
Mrs. Easom was a member of Oconee Street United Methodist Church in Athens for the last eight years where she was a member of the Adult Bible Sunday School Class. Prior to moving to Athens, Mrs. Easom was a member of Avalon United Methodist Church in Albany, Georgia. While in Albany she was a member of the Ladies Adult Bible Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Easom spent her life as a loving partner for her husband, Louie, and a devoted mother to her three sons. Her source of joy and happiness was in caring for her family. Mrs. Easom was a talented artist, leaving her family watercolors and oils that they cherish dearly.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 3rd at Lord and Stephens East Funeral Home. The Reverend Lisa Caine will officiate. The burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama.
Mrs. Easom is survived by three sons and their wives: Fredrick L. Easom and wife, Elaine, Kenneth C. Easom and wife, Maxine, and William H. Easom and wife, Anne; five grandchildren and spouses: Meg Easom Hines and husband, Steven Hines, Merideth Easom Miller and husband Christopher Miller, William H. Easom, Jr. and wife Jamie, Beth Easom Payne and husband Leslie Payne, and David Matthew Easom and wife, Barbara; and 8 great-grandchildren: Lucy Elizabeth Hines, Charles Brenner Hines, Merren Emma Hines, Emory Hall Miller, Adaline Wynn Miller, Jasmine Aaliyah Payne, Cayden Joel Easom, and Jordan Rhys Easom.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ken and Maxine Easom, 420 Millstone Circle, Athens in the afternoon and evening of Monday, December 2nd. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Oconee Street United Methodist Church Building Fund.
