Athens, GA - Lucille (Trixie) Williams Cooper, 93, died December 1, 2007.
A native and lifelong resident of Athens, she was the 12th and last surviving child of the late John Parks and Flora Bates Williams and widow of Richard Pearl Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was retired from Thomas Textile and was of the Baptist faith. For the past 21 years, she shared a home and a positive attitude toward life with her sister in law, Rebie Williams.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Revs. Don Leaptrott and Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time.
Survivors in addition to her sister in law, include nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
