Athens, GA - Lucienne (Lou) Wilson, 75, died in Athens, GA on December 21, 2007 after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Buddy Wilson, of Athens, GA, six children, Jackie Prouty of Sandwich, MA, Lorraine McGough of Athens, GA, Pauline Tessier of Acton, MA, Lucille Noel of Johnston, RI, Robert Tessier of Colbert, GA, James Tessier of Lexington, GA, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Doris Belleville of Woonsocket, RI. She was the sister of the late Albert and Denis Lavigne.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Loran Smith Center, c/o Athens Regional Foundation, 1199 Prince Ave., Athens, GA 30606 or the VistaCare Foundation, 150 Ben Burton Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
