Lucas Gibson, 35, died Monday, December 15, 2014.
Born in Enterprise, AL, he was the son of Dan and Debra Baxley Gibson of Enterprise, AL. Lucas was a Field Engineer for Brassfield & Gorrie General Contractors and member of Watkinsville First Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Carrie Owen Gibson and parents include his three children: Olivia Jean Owen, Mattie Grace Gibson, and Andrew John Gibson; sisters: Leslie Ann Gibson, Lori (Joey) Snell; father in law and mother in law: Bob and Jill Owen; sister in law: Stacy Owen; nephew: Gibson Ellis Snell; niece: Gracyn Elliot Snell and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Local funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 165 Pulaski St., Athens, GA, with Pastors Carlos Sibley and Benson Bottoms officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 at the church. Funeral services in Enterprise, AL, will be held Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2:00 at New Home Baptist Church, County Road 617, with Pastors Cliff Quincey and Lane Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00.
