Louise Stapp Scarborough

Crawford - Louise S. Scarborough, 82, wife of Earl B. Scarborough, died Monday, July 18, 2011.
Born in Madison, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Molly Stapp. She worked as the Financial Secretary at First United Methodist Church of Athens and she and her husband, Earl, were the owners of Scarborough's Department Store in Crawford. She was a member of Crawford Baptist Church where she was a member of Fideles Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Dolly Meyer, Lena Mae Shelton, Albert Stapp, Nealia Cross, Annie Laura Barrow, Tumie Stapp, Jones Stapp, Henry Stapp and one grandson: Phil Scarborough.
Survivors include her husband Earl; sons and daughters-in-law: Mike and Phyllis Scarborough of Washington, GA, Dean and Dee Scarborough of Toccoa, GA; grandsons: Adam and Chris Scarborough and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 2PM at Crawford Baptist Church with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crawford Baptist Church, 124 Church St., Crawford, GA 30630.
