Louise Middlebrooks

d. February 2, 2008

Duluth - Louise Carson Middlebrooks passed away peacefully the evening of February 2, 2008.
Louise was born November 23, 1918 to the late Walter and Hattie Whitehead Carson. She was a native of Farmington Georgia where she was a clerk at Percy Middlebrooks Store and a life time member of Farmington United Methodist Church. After retirement she enjoyed gardening, crafts, stamp and coin collecting, and reading. She was an avid Braves fan and hardly missed a game. She spent many weekends coming to Atlanta to visit her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed setting up weddings and loved to shop for the best bargains a "good" garage sale had to offer. After caring for her mother and brother she moved to Atlanta where she lived for the past 15 years, but always referred to Farmington as "down home." Louise is preceded in death by her husband Walter Larry Middlebrooks, brothers Benjamin "Bulldog", William "Fox" and James "Jim" and son in law Frank E Morgan, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters and son in law, JoAnn Morgan, Nancy and Joe McCart; 3 granddaughters and their spouses Kathy and Richard Schrader, Elizabeth and Stan Howington, and Angela and Bret Garwood; 2 grandsons and their spouses, Jeff and Debbie McCart and Tony and Alicia McCart and 9 great grandchildren, Justin and Jordan McCart, Morgan Ann Tracy, Russell, Katie and Joey Schrader, Ashley and Brittany McCart and Davis Frank Garwood. She is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, February 4 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at the Oconee Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday February 5, 2008 at 1:30p.m. at the Farmington United Methodist Church.
