Watkinsville - Louise "Winnie" Keyes McKinnon, of Watkinsville, died suddenly Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Born on August 22, 1935, in Bogart, Georgia, Louise was the wife of the late Wesley W. "Wash" McKinnon. She loved her family with a strength that could move mountains; she was a faithful friend who always thought of others before herself; she was a survivor with an unparalleled zest for life - leaving a legacy that will far outlive her time on earth.
Survivors include her daughters Brenda McKinnon (Chuck) Horton of Watkinsville, Kay McKinnon (Lee) Woolbright, Jr. of Watkinsville, and son Wesley Marcus (Wyndee) McKinnon of Hartwell; grandson Christopher Nicholas (Lindsey) Horton of Allen, TX; granddaughters Courtney Horton (Philip) Bernardi of Cumming and Meredyth Keyes McKinnon of Hartwell; and great granddaughters Finley Kathryn Horton of Allen, TX and Milania Baye Bernardi of Cumming and great grandson Logan McKinnon Horton of Allen, TX; brother Teddy Jack (Mavis) Keyes of Bogart and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 11am until 12pm at Lord and Stephens, WEST, and a memorial service will immediately follow at 12pm at the Chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST.
