Louise Tumlin Hanes

Louise Tumlin Hanes, 82, wife of Carl Jackson Hanes, died Monday, May 14, 2012.
A native of Tucker, GA, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Fulton and Julia Teagle Tumlin. She was a longtime member of the Fairview Community in Morgan County, member of the Eastern Star, Winterville First Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Hanes was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and always thought of others before herself.
In addition to her husband of 61 ½ years, Carl Jackson Hanes, survivors include three children: Julia Evelyn Hanes of Winterville, Carla Suzanne Hanes Washington of Crawford, Charles Jackson "Chuck" Hanes of Madison; brother: Curtis Jackson "Jackie" Tumlin of Nahunta, GA; sister: Betty Frank Tumlin Williams of Madison; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Winterville Cemetery with Rev. Phil Wages officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Winterville First Baptist Church c/o The Keenagers, 305 North Church Street, Winterville, GA 30683.
