Lorraine Lagna Breen, 71, of Watkinsville, GA, died peacefully with her husband by her side on November 22, 2021, after a courageous 15 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Born in Stewart Manor, New York, she was the daughter of Edward and Francis Lagna.

Lory is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, John; two daughters, Emily Breen Williams (Julian) and Maria Breen Williams (Clark); 2 grandchildren, Sophia and Elijah; and brother Robert Lagna.

In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Lory, was a talented educator with nearly 15 years of dedicated service as a Biology teacher at H.V. Jenkins High School in Savannah, Georgia; Lory inspired many students to pursue productive and meaningful lives. She was passionate about the natural world, and served as a Naturalist and Biologist with the National Park Service for several years before her teaching career.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 3rd 2021, at 11 AM at Athens First United Methodist Church with Rev. Martha Aenchbacher officiating.
