Mrs. Loma Olson, 99, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2010 surrounded
by her family.
Born in rural Big Stone County, Minnesota on May 28, 1911, she had
made her home in Georgia with her daughter, Vonnie Zimmerman and
beloved son-in-law, Arlan, for the last forty-one years.
She is also survived by her grandsons, Keith (Ashley) Zimmerman and
Brad (Becky) Zimmerman; great grandchildren, Sybil, Zachary, Abigail,
Bryce and Olivia Zimmerman. Other survivors include 5 grandchildren,
14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren in Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernal Olson; son, Roger;
grandchild, Danny Olson; six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the
chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Rev. Ray Finger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prince Avenue Baptist
Church Building Fund or St. Mary's Hospice.
