Havelock, N.C. - Lois Yarbrough Seagraves, 94, died Friday morning, May 11, 2007. Lois left us to be with her Lord and Savior. Daughter of the late William "Bill" and Maud Yarbrough. Also preceded in death by her husband Homer Seagraves, sister Martha Yarbrough Smith, brothers Pete Yarbrough and Tommy Yarbrough.
Survived by daughter Laura Anderson and husband Charles of Havelock, NC; three grandchildren, Cathy Terrell of Jacksonville, FL, Loretta Edwards of Havelock, NC and Charles Anderson Jr. of New Bern, NC; five great-grandsons; sister, Jenny Stephens Thaxten of Watkinsville, GA; brothers, Henry Yarbrough and Jack Yarbrough both of Athens, GA; a number of nieces and nephews.
Lois was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and beloved friend to Lordmany. She never met a stranger and always greeted you with a kind and loving smile. Lois spent many years as a private setter to a number of people, making theirs and their families last days pleasant. She had spent her life in Athens, moving to NC the last several years to be with her daughter and her family.
Funeral services were Tuesday May 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Lord and Stephens East Chapel.
