Colbert - Lois Jane Looney, 48, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Fannie Mae Looney. She was a machine operator at Peterson Springs.
Survivors include her son, JR Looney of Colbert; daughters Angela Bentley of Colbert and Julie Folger of Fayetteville, N.C.; brothers Jackie Looney of Danielsville and Johnny Looney of Winterville; grandchildren Hailey Folger, Tristan Folger, Jade McDaniel and Dylan McDaniel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Lord & Stephens, East Chapel. Burial will follow at Sonlight Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Kittle, Steve McDonald, Mathew Cowart, David Looney, Tim Smith and Joey Hayden.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the funeral home.
