Watkinsville - Lois Justine Lloyd, 79, wife of the late Archie Ralph Lloyd, died Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the residence of her son Ralph.
Born in Allardt, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Tinch. She was a member of Elder Road Baptist Church and had attended Green Acers Baptist Church. She dedicated her life in the service of others by operating and running the Christian Source of Development for Children (Daycare), Christian Source Adult Group Home and Christian Source Young Womenís Rehabilitation Group Home and has since retired.
Survivors include her children; Ralph Edward Lloyd of Watkinsville, Janice Sladky of Perrysburg, OH, Mark Lloyd of Winterville, Sharon Collier of Watkinsville, adopted sons; Jack Abbot(deceased), Joseph Abbot(deceased), Robert Abbot and Tom Abbot all of Tennessee, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 9, 2005 at 4PM at Oconee Chapel. Rev. Carlton Jackson will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 8, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimerís Association, any Hospice group of choice or any ministry of ones choice.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
