Lois Jean Harshbarger

Lois Jean Harshbarger, 85, of Winterville, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at 5:50 PM at the Gentiva Hospice Unit of Athens.
Born on August 24, 1929 in Gallitzin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Chance and Ester (Blakenbaker) Watson. She married William C. Harshbarger on March 4, 1946, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2013.
Mrs. Harshbarger lived in Georgia for over fifty years. She was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Senior Citizens Joy Club, and the Co-Workers Sunday School Class. Over the years, she worked as a Nanny for many local families.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Harshbarger) Jones and husband Felix; son, Scott Harshbarger and wife Maria; her siblings, Thelma (Watson) Davis and husband Richard; Janice Irion; Donna (Watson) Eberly and husband John; and Larry Watson, all of Alexandria, PA; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Watson, of Mogadore, OH, in addition to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
No services will be held. Private interment will take place at Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery.
