Lois Emily Bryant

Lois Emily Bryant, 88, died December 5, 2013 at Oaks of Athens where she resided for the last years of her life.A native of Athens, GA, she was a daughter of the late Melvin O. and Odell Hancock Bryant and the stepdaughter of Sidney Vinson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph O. Bryant, Sr. and Donald (Buddy) Bryant; two aunts, Bertha Bryant Lewis and Dycie Hancock Schneider; and cousin, David Hancock. Mrs. Bryant was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 4:00 at Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wiley Carney officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 3:30pm until service time.
Survivors include cousins, Robert Hancock, Mary Hancock and Jackie House; nephews, Ralph O. Bryant, Jr. of Hull, Ken Bryant of Macon and Donald Bryant of Texas; and many other relatives.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
