Carlton - Lloyd E. Jackson, 64, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 1PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Dwight Duhon officiating. Burial will follow at Carlton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Smith, Waylon Smith, Mark Arnold II, PJ Finch, Joshua King, Wesley Lowery and Brandon Goen.
A native of Simmesport, La., was the son of the late Andrew and Isidee Bonnett Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his son; Timmy Jackson; brothers: Joe Jackson and Glenn Jackson; granddaughter: Marsha Arnold.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years Doris Martin Jackson; five daughters and their husbands: Bonnie and Eddie Palmer, Polly and Mark Arnold, Donna and Joe Havis, Jennie and Al Reynolds all of Carlton and Lynett and Jimmy Jones; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; five sisters: Joyce Jackson, Aymond "Mutt" Myrtis Jackson Brodeaux, Diane Jackson Lemoine, Gail Jackson and Marlane Jackson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
