Hull, Georgia - Linda Susan Strupp, 57, of Hull, GA died Saturday November 10, 2007,
at her home. Born in Glendale CA on November 30, 1949, Linda was the daughter of the late Jim Strupp and Phyllis Strupp of Hull, GA. Linda grew up in Bluefield West Virginia and graduated from Bluefield High School in 1967. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before graduating with a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1971.
Linda worked as a physical therapist in Raleigh NC at both WakeMed and Duke Raleigh Hospital prior to relocating to Georgia in 2005. She was employed as a physical therapist at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Linda is survived by her mother, Phyllis Strupp of Hull Georgia, sisters Cathy Nielson of Asheville NC and Amanda Whitsel of Hull GA and brother David Strupp of Suwanee, GA as well as three nieces, Alexandra Nielson, Rachel Whitsel and Jessica Strupp.
Linda's memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday November 17, 2007 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, 963 Highway 98 East in Danielsville, GA. Donations can be made to one of Linda's favorite charities, the Whale Defense Conservation Society at www.whales.org.
