Linda Weatherly Ramirez, 69, of Athens, passed away August 17, 2013.
Linda enjoyed working at the University of Georgia in an accounting position, and retired after 30 years of service. Linda was known for her love and talent for dancing, her sense of humor, and a zest for life that touched everyone she met.
The family would like to thank her friends, doctors and nurses for their care and loving support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, PO Box 6588, Athens, Georgia 30604.
A private family memorial service will be held.
Survivors include husband, Joe Ramirez; sisters, Rita (Richard) W. Laschober and Debra (Dennis) Weatherly Whitfield and a brother, David Weatherly; nieces, Kelly Laschober and Teresa (Alex) L. Robertson; and stepchildren, Richard (Erika) D. Ramirez, Ronald (Deborah) D. Ramirez and Randall (Emily) D. Ramirez.
