Linda Epps Hammond

Linda Epps Hammond, 74, died May 3, 2022. A native of Greene County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph M. and Flora Lucille Lankford Epps and was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Patrick Edward Hammond. She resided at Magnolia Estates of Oconee where she called home and will be missed by all. Linda retired from First American Bank & Trust in Athens after 18 years where she was known for her high level of customer service.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Bairdstown Baptist Church, Bairdstown, GA.

Survivors include a son, Chris (Phyllis) Savage of Union Point, GA; stepson, Phil (Gloria) Hammond of Athens; sister, Janice (Kenneth) Patrick of Greensboro, GA; two grandchildren, Brian Savage and Kayla Olive, both of Union Point, GA; four step grandchildren, Rachael Mayl of Pennsylvania, Rebecca Thiele of Union Point, GA, Christina Hoag of Athens, GA and Zack Hammond of Atlanta, GA; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
