Linda Carol (O'Dillon) Hagwood

Linda O’Dillon Hagwood, 63, of Watkinsville passed away Saturday, May 25th 2019, surrounded by the love of family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Webster (Webby) O’Dillon.  She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 45 years, Ricky Hagwood, Mother, Rosa Irene O’Dillon of Watkinsville, son and daughter-in-law Jason and Deesha Hagwood of Watkinsville, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Derrick Barnett of Watkinsville, sister Brenda Miller O’Dillon of Watkinsville, and her 5 adored grandchildren Landon and Kinlee Hagwood, Madox and Sawyer Barnett, and Justin Anderson, along with precious nieces and nephews and many more loving family and friends.

Linda was an adored wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and the very best Nana in all the world.She was loved by everyone who knew her, and spent much of her life taking care of others.  Linda shared a special sense of humor with her family, which will carry them through the difficult days ahead with smiles and laughter. Her family will remember with special fondness her one-of-a-kind spaghetti and french fry recipe, her dedicated love for her new hardwood floors (that you better not scratch, Lisa!), a skill for packing everything she owned into her minivan for family vacations, and for having multiple thousands of videos and pictures of the grandkids on her cell phone. (Literally!)

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 26, 2019, from 3-5pm at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home (West).  The funeral and burial services will immediately follow visitation, and interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.  The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Nehemiah Project at New Life Apostolic Church.  Pastor Tim Hammond and Rev. Zach Hammond will officiate.  Lord and Stephens (West) is in charge of the arrangements.
