Linda Mary Duncan

Linda Mary Eckman Duncan, beloved mother of Heather L. and Charles D. Duncan and devoted widow of the late Charles Owen Duncan, passed away on August 12, 2024.

Linda was born on February 19, 1947, to the late Robert B.W. Eckman and Gladys Griffith Eckman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Linda loved God, her family, all animals and nature. The ocean was her special place. Linda did many things; her favorite was being a mother. She cherished her time working at UGA in the nutraceutical department of the pharmacy school.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Eckman; brother, Robert G. Eckman; nephew, Christopher Eckman and John Hunter Eckman.

Along with her children Heather and Charles, she is survived by nieces, Holly and Jennifer Eckman of Gulfport, Ms., Jill Gormley of Ephrata, Pa., Kristen Lynch of Downingtown, Pa, and Pixie Hunter of Norwood, Pa.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Beatrice Eckman, of Mt. Joy, Pa.

She will be deeply missed.
